How I work

I see therapy as a purposeful relationship that is safe, encouraging, and honest. I aim to create an environment where you can explore difficult experiences while also building practical tools to feel better and function more effectively.

We move at a pace that respects your nervous system, especially if you have experienced difficult transitions, anxieties, or trauma, while still building meaningful forward momentum.

My style is warm, engaged, and thoughtful but also direct and practical. I am an active therapist who integrates evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), attachment-informed therapy, EMDR, and parts-based approaches. Together, we identify unhelpful thought patterns, emotional triggers, trauma responses, and relational dynamics that may be contributing to your depressed mood, anxiety, or chronic stress.

If you are struggling with depressed mood or anxiety, we work to untangle the hopeless or self-critical thoughts that keep you stuck while rebuilding motivation and clarity. If trauma is part of your story, we focus on safety, regulation, and gently processing experiences so they no longer control your present. If relationship issues are at the forefront,  whether with partners, parents, family, or colleagues, we examine attachment patterns, communication styles, and emotional triggers to help you build healthier, more fulfilling connections.

I have a particular interest in working with neurodivergent adults, including those with ADHD. Many clients come to me feeling misunderstood, ashamed, or “behind” in life. I help you understand how your brain works, reduce self-criticism, and build systems, habits, and coping strategies that align with your strengths. Therapy often includes skill-building, emotional regulation tools, and practical strategies you can apply immediately.

Meaningful change is possible.

With curiosity, courage, and compassion, we can work together toward sustainable healing and growth.

As a multiculturally responsive therapist

I value cultural awareness and identity-informed care. Your background, values, and lived experiences matter. Therapy is tailored to who you are and what growth means for you.

My goal is not just for you to feel understood in session, but to leave equipped with clearer insight, stronger coping skills, deeper self-trust, and actionable steps toward a more aligned and fulfilling life in light of all the contexts you live in.
