Self-Esteem & Self-Worth Therapy in NYC
Break free from self-doubt. Reconnect with your inner confidence.
You’re Tired of Second-Guessing Yourself
No matter how much you accomplish, it may feel like it’s never enough.
You may present as confident, capable, even successful, but internally, you're caught in a loop of harsh self-criticism, comparison, and never quite feeling worthy.
You might relate to:
Constantly questioning your worth in relationships, work, or social settings
Struggling to accept compliments or internalize success
Feeling like an imposter, even when you’re doing well
People-pleasing to earn approval or avoid conflict
A deep fear of being “found out,” rejected, or judged
Difficulty setting boundaries because you don’t feel like you deserve better
Quietly carrying shame or self-blame from childhood, past relationships, or cultural expectations
We understand how exhausting this can be. You may look like you have it all together on the outside, but inside, your self-esteem feels fragile, like it could collapse with one wrong move.
And yet… you’re here.
That means some part of you is ready to change that.
Therapy for Self-Esteem Can Help You Reclaim Your Sense of Self
We specialize in helping you untangle the unhelpful patterns, beliefs, and past experiences that have shaped how you view yourself.
Self-worth is not a personality trait; it's a relationship you have with yourself. And like all relationships, it can be healed.

You don’t have to keep living under the weight of self-doubt.
With the right support, it’s possible to feel more confident, secure, and aligned with your authentic self.

Emotional processing of shame, guilt, grief, or fear that’s keeping you stuck
Cognitive restructuring to challenge black-and-white or self-defeating thoughts
Compassion-based techniques to help you develop a kinder inner voice
Your story is unique so your therapy will be, too.

Common Signs You May Be Struggling with Low Self-Esteem
That voice inside, the one whispering “This isn’t serious enough to need therapy” or “Other people have it worse,” is exactly why you might need this.
Low self-esteem often hides behind high-functioning masks.
But just because you’ve learned how to “cope” doesn’t mean you have to keep carrying the weight alone.
You’re allowed to want more.
You’re allowed to feel good about who you are.
Therapy can help you get there.

While anxiety and depression often overlap with low self-esteem, our Self-worth and Self-esteem Therapy focuses specifically on how you see yourself, your internal dialogue, and the patterns that reinforce self-doubt or shame. We explore the root causes of your self-concept, helping you shift from self-criticism to self-compassion.

Not at all. While mindset shifts can help, lasting self-worth grows over time from greater insight, healing relational wounds, and building emotional resilience. Our work goes deeper than surface-level strategies; it’s about helping you feel more worthy over time, not just think it.
